Chris Powell Stax System
I gotta tell you about the Stax System. Some might say “meals on the go.” You are about to discover a breakthrough method to kick your organization woes to the curb.

I’d also like it if I could organize my Tupperware a lot better in my cooler so that I could take the portions I needed. That’s about the time I ran across this website that talks about the Stax System.

Stax System Specifications:

The Stax Food System comes with:

  • colored stax containers
  • a pack to store them in
  • a freezer pack
  • a top lid
  • a carry strap
  • and a timer on the front that you can set for 7 meals a day

It’s perfect. No more skipping meals and no more disorganized coolers stuffed with food.  This is the perfect planner for those who are into carb cycling.
Many people have problems eating multipe meals per day for their fitness goals. Having to deal with an additional layer of organization can easily derail the best made plans if you can’t pack your food quickly and easily for the next day.  The Stax System tackles these tasks quickly.  It even comes with meal plans and a workout.
If you are one of those people that has a meal plan in hand but struggles to get your act together when it comes to organization, this stax system may be your savior.  I’ll let you in on a little personal secret of my own…. 🙂
My BEST gains came when I purchased my own Stax System cooler.  Once it made it’s home on my kitchen countertop every single day, packing it in the morning became as routine as brushing my teeth.  I started eating better foods and never skipped meals.  The gains almost came overnight.  My biggest problem was not taking my own darned advice.  Packing meals is critical to eating enough quality foods during the day.  If you are organizing and planning your meals, you leave yourself wide open to skipping meals and making hasty food choices.

BUMMER … looks like Chris isn’t selling it anymore off the website and it redirects to his Extreme Makeover site.  I didn’t find it there.  I checked eBay and no luck but that would be the best place.
Maybe there’s something else like this and I don’t know about it?
Feel free to drop me a comment if there is so I can go check it out.

  1. Thank you for the review… I just purchased the system — and I am waiting for it to arrive. The only thing I am skeptical about is how cool the blue ice in the middle will keep all my food. It is a good concept.

  2. Depending on the overall temperature and storage location of the system, it should work pretty well. Indoors in a cooler environment, I’ve had my food still cold after 7 hours of sitting on a desk. It won’t keep things frozen but it should keep things cooler like cottage cheese and such.

  3. I'm really interested in this system, but I'm curious about it. Does it include an actual diet plan or is this just a storage system?

  4. It includes a basic book on nutrition (nothing fancy mind you) and a few meal ideas but not what I'd call a real meal plan. It's a storage system that includes some ideas but from what I have and have seen, it doesn't include anything I'd call a meal plan. It's just a very good storage and meal organizational system.

  5. Really depends on if you need gadgets and tools to make the job easier. You can do the same thing with regular tupperware and such. I find the system perfectly setup to just add the right amounts of food without excessive measuring. It holds 3 full meals in several combination. For me, it is worth it as a planning and easy to use way to ensure nutrition is never missed because of poor planning. But the system itself can be done using standard coolers, ice packs and smaller containers. This just makes it so darn easy.

  6. Is there somewhere you can get the amounts and diet info and just purchase the containers yourself?

    1. The Diet itself is something you could find generally on the Internet. Nothing super special. The containers could be anything tupperware like. The benefit to the system is easy of use and the containers fit neatly inside the carrier. Plus the timer is a cool option. But.. if you wanted, you could duplicate the setup yourself.
Just having your meals prepped and ready to go is 90% of the nutrition battle. This just makes it easy.
